Visaginas City Festival is special this year. We will see and hear as many as 8 famous Visaginas in a marathon of anniversary events!
The first artists to arrive to congratulate the city on its jubilee are soprano Katerina Tretyakova and mezzo-soprano Yuliya Samsonova, both internationally renowned opera soloists whose careers have taken them to the most famous stages in Europe, from Zurich and Hamburg to the Salzburg Festival and Milan's La Scala Theatre.
Together with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Martynas Staskus, they invite you to a festive evening of classical music - "Opera for the Hometown", dedicated to Visaginas, its history and people.
