A Transcendental Sound Experience – A Gong Bath
A Transcendental Sound Experience – A Gong Bath

About the event
We invite you to a cosmic Sound Odyssey – a journey through sounds and vibrations, during which you can relax, close your eyes and let the sounds work on your body and senses.
During the session, you’ll hear gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, a shamanic drum, crystal bowls, a pure-toned xylophone, and Sensula and Koshi bells. The sounds and vibrations of these various instruments will create a unified auditory experience designed to promote relaxation and inner harmony.
For the majority of the session, gongs will be played – instruments from Eastern cultures characterised by a powerful sound and vibrations that permeate the entire body.
The session takes place whilst lying down, with your eyes closed and in a relaxed state. Each person’s experience may vary – from a sense of calm and bliss to stronger emotions or unusual sensations.
Participants are advised to bring:
* A yoga mat (if you do not have one, please let us know at the time of registration)
* A blanket to cover yourself with. When lying still, your body temperature drops and you may feel chilly, so it is best to have something to cover yourself with, especially during the colder months.
* A pillow for under your head.
* Water to drink.
If you do not have a yoga mat, please let us know at registration.
Due to strong sound vibrations, this session may not be suitable for people with high blood pressure, panic disorders or those who have suffered trauma. Children aged 12 and over are welcome to attend the event.
The event will be hosted by Tomas Ivanauskas
