What if the city became a stage, and chance passers-by became the audience? What if the place itself began to dictate our movements?
For five days – 17–21 August – we will explore spaces that we usually just walk past. We’ll look for movement where we don’t usually notice it. We’ll listen to the architecture, the light, the sounds, the distances and the coincidences. We’ll work with what already exists around us, not turning the space into a backdrop, but entering into a dialogue with it.

This creative workshop is an invitation to explore and create a site-specific performance together.We won’t be learning a pre-choreographed routine, nor will we be striving for technical perfection. Instead, we’ll try to shift our perception: to see more than we’re used to noticing; to listen to our bodies; to move without music; not to ‘act’, but to truly be here and now. We will explore how the simplest of actions can become expressive, unexpected and engaging. Perhaps after this workshop, the city will never seem the same to you again.
Everyone who is interested in contemporary art, who misses movement and theatre, and who simply wants to explore their own body and rediscover familiar spaces in a new light is welcome to join us. No previous dance experience is necessary.
