“ROMANTIC SAX”! - a programme that will make you want to book a ticket to Rome, fall in love, or at least sing “Felicità” out loud in the car on your way home.

On stage – one of Lithuania’s most charismatic saxophonists, Juozas Kuraitis, and pianist Daumantas Slipkus. Their performance is much more than the sound of a saxophone accompanied by a piano – it is a lively musical conversation filled with emotion, energy and the unmistakable atmosphere of Italian music.

Pianist Lukas Gedvilas will also perform alongside Juozas Kuraitis at the Panevėžys Musical Theatre.

The evening will feature legendary Italian hits performed by artists such as Adriano Celentano, Zucchero, Al Bano and Romina Power, Andrea Bocelli, Ricchi e Poveri, The Kolors, and other icons of Italian music.

The programme includes melodies you will recognise from the very first notes: “Felicità”, “Libertà”, “Vivo per lei”, “Mamma Maria”, “Caruso”, as well as iconic melodies from the films “The Godfather” and “Cinema Paradiso”, alongside many other classics of Italian music.

This is a concert where the audience sings along, the hall sways from the very first notes, and smiles appear naturally.

The saxophone will sound so vibrant and emotional that, for a moment, you may feel as though the entire hall has been transported to a small Italian square somewhere in Rome – where music fills the air, espresso is brewing, and life moves just a little slower.:
