Project „Sustainable cross border cooperation for winter tourism development“ („SnowPower“)  is being implemented under the Interreg VI-A Latvia–Lithuania Program 2021–2027. Its goal is to promote active outdoor recreation, develop winter tourism infrastructure, and strengthen cooperation between the border regions of Latvia and Lithuania.

To tackle common challenges project SnowPower aims to enhance the low tourism season – winter, thus contributing to economic development and sustainability of Daugavpils (Latvia) and Visaginas (Lithuania) cross-border region as a sustainable tourism destination.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.

The total budget of the project is EUR 740,414.43 EUR, of which EUR 592,331.54 EUR is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
