“Dad” – a mural about equal partnership in the family

In Visaginas, at Sedulinos al. 11, a mural titled “Dad” was created on a retaining wall. The artwork focuses on family, fatherhood and the equal participation of both parents in raising children.

The mural was created in summer 2026 as part of the project “Equal Partnership in the Family: Raising Young Children”. The artwork invites viewers to see fatherhood as a shared responsibility and partnership in which both parents actively participate in family life.

The mural was created by a team of artists from the Vilnius-based NGO “Kiaurai sienas” together with the NGO “Namų mama”.

The creation of the artwork in Visaginas was initiated by Visagino kultūros centras.
